Assessment and Accountability

Student Performance

The District’s schools and programs, under the leadership of the Superintendent, plan for continuous improvement measuring their efforts by the results generated from standardized tests, locally generated assessments, surveys and overall success of students. All administrators are trained in Response to Instruction (RtI), Positive Behavior Supports (PBS) and leading data meetings.

At the district level, the Testing Coordinator provides an analysis of student assessment data from state administered assessments to the Superintendent, Curriculum and Instruction Administrator and school level administrators as state assessment data is released for the district. During the Summer Administrator’s Conference, administrators receive a notebook containing district and school disaggregated assessment data, discipline reports, failure reports and attendance reports complied by the Testing Coordinator, Curriculum and Instruction Administrator and the Student Services Administrator.
