Parents Right To Know

Your child should be bringing you a letter with information on your right to request your child's teacher's qualifications, along with a form to be completed to do so. Please see the letter attached.

In addition, if, and only if, your child is being taught by a teacher who has not met all requirements of certification, you should receive, by mail, a letter informing you of this. The letter should be mailed out on Friday, October 17. You should receive it sometime next week.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact Chan Mullenix at the Pickens County Board of Education: 205 367 2080.
